In our last episode, we learned about a Kingdom of God on earth—the kingdom of Israel, ruled by King David and his son Solomon. This episode we’re going to look more closely at that Kingdom. What will it be like? Why does it matter? And most of all—how will it finally bring peace to our world? This is one of the greatest hopes the Bible gives us.

In this episode, we’re going to travel far back in time — thousands of years — to learn about something amazing that once existed on earth: a real Kingdom of God.

About two thousand years ago, Jesus was publicly crucified. His followers were so sad and confused. They thought all their hope was gone. But on the third day, something wonderful happened—Jesus rose from the dead! The message Jesus taught the disciples was very clear about what was going to happen. He was going to leave them and would later return and establish a kingdom on the earth.
